Suri Silk Lace Yarn in Robin's Egg
This unbelievably soft lace weight yarn is perfect for using on it's own or holding with another strand of yarn to add warmth and a gorgeous halo. It would be an excellent substitute for any patterns that call for mohair yarn. This yarn is hand dyed in Robin’s Egg colorway; yarn is tonal shades of green-blue with hints of cream.
Skein is 50 grams, 437 yards.
65% Baby Suri Alpaca
35% Mulberry Silk
Yarn is hand dyed by me in my smoke free, dog friendly home. I do my best to accurately portray yarn colors in my listings but color may vary slightly because of differences in screens and variances in dye lots.
Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, dying yarn in very small batches, changes in dye manufacturer’s formulas, etc, skeins will not be exactly alike. Please alternate skeins in project for best results. Also, I cannot guarantee that all colorways and bases will be available in the future, so please buy all that you will need for your project.
Yarn and fiber is rinsed and soaked to remove excess dye, but please be aware color may bleed. Please hand wash separately in cool water, and test a swatch if using for colorwork.
I strive to be as sustainable as possible in my work. I use metal free acid dyes, avoid single use plastics and use compostable packaging.
