Rambouillet Combed Top in Mallard
Hand Dyed Rambouillet wool combed top in Mallard colorway. 100 grams (3.5 ounces). Fiber is variegated shades of green, blue, brown and cream. Rambouillet is a soft and fine fiber. Wool is grown, processed and dyed in the United States.
Fiber is hand dyed by me in small batches in my smoke free, dog friendly home. Listing is for one braid of fiber; any props or accessories in photos are not included in purchase. I do my best to accurately portray yarn colors in my listings but color may vary slightly due to differences in screens and variances in dye lots.
If you are interested in a sweater quantity, please message me. Since I work out of my home with limited space, I don't typically keep large quantities of each colorway on hand. But most of my colorways are repeatable and a custom order can be created.
Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, dying yarn in very small batches, changes in dye manufacturer’s formulas, etc, fiber braids will not be exactly alike. Also, I cannot guarantee that all colorways and bases will be available in the future, so please buy all that you will need for your project.
Yarn and fiber is rinsed and soaked to remove excess dye, but please be aware color may bleed. Please hand wash separately in cool water, and test a swatch if using for colorwork.
I take great care to be as sustainable as possible in my work. I use metal free acid dyes, avoid single use plastics in my dying process and reuse packaging material when I can.
