Peony Tank Knitting Pattern *Digital Download*

Peonies in bloom always remind me of those first hot, sunny days of summer. I wanted to create a loose, flowing tank with a feminine lace that captures the energy of those days and mimics the romantic feel of the peonies.
Knit in fingering weight yarn, this pattern is graded for finished bust sizes of 32-64 inches. The yardage required to knit tank as written ranges from 440-865 yards, depending on size. Size US 4 (3.5 mm) needles are recommended to reach a gauge of 18 stitches and 28 rows per 4 inches in Stockinette. This tank is started with a provisional cast on at the top of the shoulder. The front and back of each strap are worked and then joined after increases. After a few more increases and some stitches cast on for the underarm, the front and back are joined to work in the round. Stockinette is continued for the bust, followed by a lace panel for the remainder of the body.
Note on sizing: This pattern was written and tech edited for sizes up to 64 inch bust; however I was unable to find testers for the sizes with finished bust size of 52, 56, 60 or 64.
